Fascias and soffits are critical components of a roof’s edge, often overlooked but essential for both aesthetics and performance. The fascia is the vertical finishing edge attached to the ends of the rafters or trusses, usually supporting the lower edge of the roof tiles and the gutter system. The soffit, on the other hand, sits underneath the fascia board and bridges the gap between the exterior wall and the edge of the roof. Together, they form a protective barrier and a neat finish.
